Sarah Jayne’s Guide to Aesthetic Treatments

What treatments are commonly marketed to do, what Sarah has observed in practice, what she assesses before treating, and what patients should understand before deciding.

25 years’ NHS nursing experience. Around 10 years in aesthetics. Sarah’s willingness to advise against treatment is part of the service, not a failure to sell it.

01

Assessment before a product

Sarah starts with anatomy, movement, tissue, medical history, previous treatment and the actual goal—not a trend or package.

02

Realistic limits

Softening is not erasure. Hydration is not lifting. Added volume does not make a feature physically smaller. No treatment is guaranteed.

03

Alternatives count

Less treatment, a different modality, medical or dental referral, staged treatment and no treatment are all legitimate outcomes.

How to use this guide

Each treatment appears on one primary family page so information does not fragment or contradict itself. Prices are clear, but clinical suitability is more important than a package. Prescription-only treatments require a face-to-face consultation and an individual prescription before treatment.
